Custom-made In New York Podcast for women of color is dedicated to building a community of sisterhood and wellness through conversation. The topics covered are to educate and empower women whether through social-emotional, financial, spiritual, physical, mental, parental or political education. This podcast is about wellness and community for us.

Life, I Swear shared a tories and reflections from Black women about trials in their lives that have helped them heal, connect and process. In one-on-one interviews with guests’ personal prose, the podcast centers on personal stories that offer universal insights into topics relevant to modern women’s lives, from identity and healing to trauma and resilience, told through the lens of Black women. These stories explore how we come home to ourselves, give ourselves grace, and reconcile living through the fragility of healing through life’s ebbs and flows.

Each week I talk to friends or special guests about womanhood - our identity and visibility.What defines womanhood and what does even being a woman mean?! I want to talk about successes, challenges, and everything in between. We discuss the unique issues they face as they navigate their professional and social environments. I interview women out here killing it in the (male-dominated) game, share the challenges and successes of trying to be a woman in the working world, and of course, ask all of our amazing ladies for tips and tricks on how to be more than a pretty face! Our goal is to highlight the ways in which women are changing the world around us by talking to ladies from all different backgrounds - because our stories are important and should be heard.

In this interview series, host Alicia Menendez talks to remarkable Latinas about making it, faking it, and everything in between. In often-hilarious and always-revealing episodes, Alicia and her guests take on the challenges of existing, and then thriving, as women of color.
